An interesting concept. I'm not disagreeing by the way, but there was a sizeable part of the population that decided to sack off the lockdown. Getting reported cases down to zero would be a very long time coming.
I was trying to clarify because it may be an eternity before we get to that stage by which time the economy is screwed and people are then dying due to the consequences of that. No deaths being reported would obviously come sooner but still likely to be a long time and the economy may still be screwed but not quite so badly.
ghr only downside is it’s lonely at times. I miss the office banter, the impromptu catch ups, jokes etc.. teams is too clinical.
I'm heading a lot of rumours about the "second spike", looking likely cos a) it's happened in other countries and b) the government eased the lockdown without having a clue what was going on. Oh well, ****s n giggles.
I don't mind Teams tbh, we have weekly work quizzes, work pubs and a 15 minute lunch call every day where we're not aloud to talk about work and only about TV, how drunk we got last night etc. I guess it's different for me though cos I've never actually been in the office!
