Anyone still doing it? I am. I have a week in the office a month and 3 weeks at home. I get more done and feel a lot more productive. And actually work more hours. Interesting view from Nick here.
I am. Three days at home and two days at work. Amazing how more productive you can be when not getting phone calls every 10 minutes. Plan to continue in similar vein even when things get back to “normal”.
I was already working from home a couple of days a week, but, I've not been in the office since early March. There are pros and cons, but overall, it works fine for the best part Getting into a routine, is a must. I suspect, October at the earliest going back, on limited basis only. Working too many hours though, but not tonight.
I actually look forward to the drive to Cheltenham now. It’s like a holiday.. better weather, hotel, no kids etc
Forget all that, the question has evolved to who's the twat - Chippy or Nick. Most money is on Chippy.
Don't you get sick of those cars driving up to your kitchen window to order their Big Mac and Fries though?
I don’t think it affects your diet if you are serving. Although judging by how greasy most of the fast food workers look a certain percentage of the fat must be absorbed through the skin.
Anyway working from home is fine for me but I know if I stay away from the office too long the people I employ will slack off. Went home early on Friday and the bastards all ****ed off 10mins early.
Ferrari there, doing the bidding of commercial developers and pension funds, under the guise of a right wing fossil talking about what’s ‘best’ for office workers. The slug should STFU. Most people are perfectly fine working from home, and don’t need to spend 2 hrs of their life a day commuting in order to achieve what needs to be done. The fact they’re not buying a Costa and a butty isn’t lardy’s genuine concern here. Sugar was the first to start crying about this 2 months back, saying workers can’t be trusted to work from home. That’ll be the same Sugar who’s got most of his dosh tied up in commercial property these days. Look at the politicians and the right wing media mouthpieces who are starting to prattle on about this, and then question why. As this isn’t about what’s ‘best’ for anyone, barring the big money developers and those who are owners of commercial property, that’s literally it.
