Worked for Kane. Smith and Bradshaw played a lot of games up front for them last season, though. Not sure he'd get many chances.

Did he? This season has been his worst one for us I'd say. Decent enough player but don't think he's good enough for where you're aiming to be. Be nice if we could reach a deal for him and KWP nice and early though.
Looking at Hojbjerg's stats for the season, what sticks out is how solid and reliable he is when defending https://www.premierleague.com/players/5272/Pierre-Emile-Højbjerg/stats True, he's not some impenetrable force field in the centre of the park like Kante or Ndidi can be, but as somebody who'll challenge for the ball and quickly recycle it which our midfield certainly needs, and while it's not the flashiest signing it's certainly someone who can do a job And that, realistically, is the key thing: while there's no denying that several of our team have a ceiling of 9/10, the problem is that far too many of our team have a floor of 3/10 (or lower...) when realistically we need players who are going to be 6/10 every single game, and the only player who currently comes close to that is Ben Davies
Stats are misleading and I pay little attention to them. Constantly giving the ball away with mishit passes isn't a good skill for a defensive midfielder imo. In fact I'd say his best form for us hasn't been as a defensive midfielder at all but when he's playing box to box and driving forward with the ball.
If the plan is to have him nick the ball and lay it off to Lo Celso, while it may be predictable and possibly countered if they have some leg humper on him all game, the fact that we haven't been able to even do that all season is clearly something that needs to be fixed That's the thing with Eric Dier: when he played alongside prime Dembele he was fine, as all he had to do was break up play and lay it off to Dembele to drive forward or out to Walker or Rose to tear down the wing. But when Dembele started to decline he then needed to pass the ball more effectively, and results were...well there's reasons why he's a CB again So if Hojbjerg can nick the ball and lay it off to Lo Celso, or screen the press-weak Winks, then he's done his job
Would have happily taken Deeney a few seasons ago. Just the kind of c$£t that Mourinho was talking about. Now though, I'd prefer Wilson by a hair, or even Mitrović as backup to Kane. From Watford, I'd grab Sarr in a heartbeat. Both wings and striker backup. Young and hungry player. If we were ever in for Zaha we should be all over Sarr instead. I'm not confident any of these will happen though, maybe Wilson will.
So we're supposed to be in for Foyth, apparently tried to get him on loan last season. Is he any good fellas? Always seems to have a few costly mistakes in him, or were they just down to inexperience ?
You might get a mixed answer here, but I like him. Very skillful for a centre half and can play right back as well - Poch was transforming him before injuries and Poch leaving intervened. Did make some high profile mistakes but he was young and inexperienced. I'd like to keep hold, think there is a decent player in there. May well be good enough to play midfield, more to his game than just stopping others.
If he can adapt to playing different positions then he will be right up Bielsa's street, he likes a ball playing CB too. I just seem to think the £15m being quoted is a lot. Perhaps what you paid for him plus add ons being more realistic.
I'd rather keep him theres definitely a good player in there somewhere I'd rather have him at right back than aurier and as has been mentioned can play centre back and midfield.
He's got great talent but started out as an attacking midfielder and is yet to find his best position. If you loan him as a centre half, you may be in for some disappointment. He's a bit lightweight and has a tendency to panic and dive in or to bring the ball out when he'd be better off passing it. A long run in someone's team might cure some of the issues but be prepared for a bumpy ride, if you get him As others have said, he looks good at right back and is probably preferable to Aurier and Walker-Peters to a large number of Spurs fans...but Mourinho doesn't seem to be willing to give him a chance in that position. Personally, I think that he'd be a fabulous deep lying play maker...but I've never seen him picked there...more's the pity.
Cheers mate, problem is, we're well covered at RB, so presume we're looking at him as CB, which is the worry.
£ 300k has to be a bargain if the lad has the talent and the will to push on , hopefully one for the future
