Thursday-Friday this week and ladies and gents we are going to be a happy bunch if what i have been told is true
Sorry, Red Robin - it can't be... Thank god for this, so we don't show any interest in him https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53568836
Good move it it comes off. Works well with a budget, and plays youth. Hughton although a good choice but to me it’s like SoD all over again. Fans overwhelmingly wanted him and as they say the rest is history.
Is this the same Paul Cook that would have finished 4 points below City had the Wigan 12 point penalty not been applied? Hardly seems like the upgrade on LJ that so many on here have demanded for so long......
Yep the one that has 3 promotions to his name, plays forward football, not afraid to use youth and used to working on budget.
From the Championship, so he's been there and knows what it takes then...? Er, no.... I'm not saying he doesn't have the potential to be good, but everything I've read on here since LJ got the bullet was how we must have a proven Championship manager to get us to the next level. I just don't see it in this guy, and fear it will all end in tears......
Demonstrates our leadership, first LJ and now possibly Paul Cook , genius, we could be missing out on a proven winner in Hughton.
You do have to question the board's ambition. Is it money, as I have long wondered why City cannot attract better managers than we have had, and watched several good candidates we have been linked with, going to clubs at our level, and of our size, or smaller?
