Wilder won it last year so no need to labour the point of his good work when Klopp has literally made history
I was just going with what I'd heard and read and Wilder was the name that I saw repeatedly. I don't actually think there was any other credible option for the award but as with a lot of things in football, subjectivity comes into play.
It just seemed a bit odd with Fergie genuinely pleased that Klopp had won it and Klopp then heading praise on Fergie, they clearly have a lot of respect for each other.
Klopp is overrated. Almost got the 2nd best team in a two-horse race relegated. Bottled it and ran away. Took a year to recover from the #meltdown
The other thing about this, of course, is that they're not a threat to each other. We all remember Fergie's antics before a game. If he was still managing, his emotion (and motive) would be entirely different. Klopp, on the other hand, would react exactly as he has here.
