FFS, can't have an opinion away from there? What right do they have to give you a warning based upon something that was said here? I'd argue that it's a case of mistaken identity and that there's a 2nd wearside wanderer out there

Spot on marra. Genuine posters like Smug need to know there are those of us who appreciate what they've been able to put up.
It isn't hard to decipher the genuine from the deceitful.
Most of us have a love for this club that we have difficulty explaining to those who don't feel it........doesn't mean it isn't real!
Some try to exploit it for their own amusement.......it comes with the territory.

I was banned for months and only went back to set the record straight, which I did.

I pulled no punches and called people out.

Needless to say Pancho, who'd followed me here as 'Hotlips', threatening me with legal action from Donald, took the opportunity to ban me for life.

I never made vague hints, posted initials, changed my position, etc as many over there do ...

... I put my head firmly on the block and spelled out, word for word, what I'd been told.

Been over there since about 2002( i was bored at work one afternoon and signed up) its gradually turning worse and worse on there. Some of the behaviour by some of the mods( i know 2 from cricket and they are pretty sound) is disgraceful and have spoilt what used to be a good forum.

Now its just full of dickheads and wind up merchants. That Pancho is a cock end as well.

 

Aye he thinks he’s some kind of legal expert does poncho, I got into a heated debate via pm with him saying stuff could be libelous and shot him down in flames, it’s too clicky over there

Beat him in a forum argument and he'll claim it's 'disrupting the forum'.

When you point out it's bang on topic he suggests taking it to pm.

When you do that, and destroy his argument, he finds a reason to ban you.

Absolutely useless bloke tbh.
