Klopp has respect for everyone. He's an exceptional human being. I'm not sure how anyone could have any objection to him being 'friends' with whoever he likes. I acknowledge Fergie's achievements. I wish him no harm and hope he stays healthy but I don't like him.
Yeah I'm a bit like that now that he's retired. There's enough hate in the world Fergie did what he did and I can't say I enjoyed any of it but as I've got older I can look back on it and acknowledge the achievement. Hopefully Klopp can go on to win many more trophies with us.

I think when you’ve successfully won trophies and are universally loved by all Liverpool fans, you can get away with being friendly with an rivals old ex manager. However when hodgson was all buddy buddy with him, totally different reaction.
I agree, you have to do the groundwork before getting all friendly with a rival. Roy was just a mistake from start to finish.
I know the actual fact of the matter is we didn't but I feel like we already have. We've just had two fantastic seasons not a one off great effort to win the league. The coming season will be/ has the potential to be our third.
I agree. We are in a very good position in every aspect, players, manager, owners, physical fitness and more importantly, mentality. We are physically and mentally strong. For me the biggest test will be starting the season with no fans. Although we've just had a glimpse of what it's like, it has been a very unnatural situation. Health was paramount and no fans a necessity. Going into a new season it won't feel like a necessary measure to get games done, it will feel like 'this could be the new normal' and it will be an artificial reality (I'm aware that doesn't make sense). I can't believe I'm saying this but I don't think fans were missed too much for those nine games. It will be completely different going into a new season. Yes everyone will be playing under the same set of conditions but i genuinely believe - for us, can't comment anyone else - the fans make a huge difference.
Just on the award, I saw some shouts for Chris Wilder. He had a great season, for sure but in terms of going beyond expectations could you really say that Klopp didn't excel by going even further beyond expectations. I also heard and saw some say that nobody expected Sheffield to even stay up. Really? That's hugely revisionist. He's had all the plaudits imaginable for what he's doing there and I didn't see one prediction for Sheffield being relegated. Keeping a good team motivated and finishing alongside Burnley in 9th place, one of only three teams to lose their last three games, less GF than Bournemouth versus (without going into detail or I will be here all day) the season Klopp produced - absolutely no contest.
