Back to money.... apparently stadiums won’t be full for over a year (SAFC indefinetley) so income will drop massively for some clubs.

A fresh spender in the PL has surely never been as welcome... outside of course the ‘big 6’ who don’t want to see another challenger.

I wish people would just be honest, stop bullshitting and pretending all they want is communication and a club that tries. The club does try.. What they want is some good ****ing players and to compete for top 8 and cups Plain and simple.. No bullshitting here

 

Don’t forget decent toilets - I know you dont go to games but they are a disgrace, especially after @Albert's Chip Shop has used them.

What will the response or your own response?

I think people will deep down be devastated, but will say things like " all I care about is that Ashley's gone" coupled with " let's wait and see he might take the club fwd I'm sure he wants to win something nor just settle for 17th".

We've been put in checkmate my the Ashley sympathisers.. And the people saying we want to be like man City..

My personal view will be " **** this"

I’ll have a look at the structure and consortium, first. Saudi wealth is fine but there’s something very soulless about it, and the accusations around human rights are all very accurate.

If this Mauriss is even real, and he has some kind of GACP or Fenway setup, that makes the club competitive and invests in training, makes the most of commercial activity and gradually builds a good squad a la Wolves, Leicester, etc, I’d be very happy.

But it seems very unrealistic and I’m now just one day from giving up on Ashley’s Newcastle. Feels a bit like Xmas.

 

Its the old normal for Sunderland - they have been practicing social distancing at the stadium for years.
