So we agree that I didn't actually state, anywhere, at any time, that we would 'stay ahead of Man United' ... excellent ... we are making progress ... knew I hadn't because I would never tempt fate ...it's also why I never bet on them other than for charity. Now admittedly when you started on this earlier today I thought you meant over time not this season ... hence my earlier comment on how we can't match the spending of the Big 4 .... but the point still stands either way ...
