Means they are after a commercial solicitor. Whoever was in that role was probably sick of their lives.
Telegraph have written something claiming it's gridlocked because of a lack of clarity over who has the final say, or some other such ****. As was said very early on, the PL have simply consistently looked for ways and means to fail it. This just looks like the latest. In effect, they are making it up as they go along to try and protect the high rollers club.
perhaps it's so they can use it as a 'look what we've done ' to ensure Saudi piracy issues would be addressed after passing it ?
oh oh looks like jason burt is saying it's off he broke the story in April also mauriss is now talking to Ashley
Exclusivity only applies to initial negotiations. Once a sale has been agreed a Sales Purchase Agreement is signed and sent to the PL. Exclusivity no longer applies. Ashley cannot sell to someone else unless the PL is rejected.
So it might have been rejected ... we would hear nothing then either Ashley says it's business as usual or we here about an announcement that mauriss or someone else has bought the club
It hasn’t been rejected. Didn’t SB specifically say in his interview that it was still with the PL and that’s what MA has told him?
his body language was all weird.. maybe like suggested earlier he was showing signs of relief knowing it's failed?
