Crap second half but the job got done in the end. Thank god this tainted sham of a season is over. Over to Levy now to give Mourinho a capable squad and some upgrades at full back, and the Winkssoko pairing which is one of our biggest problems. Both have uses as squad players playing alongside the right midfielder but not together, Sissoko is useful to cover defensively and as an enforcer but he can`t pass a football and kills every attack he is involved in, we need better as first choice. A big window ahead if we are to compete at the top of the PL next season.
Can you imagine the scenes at Sky and UEFA head offices when they see the top four for next seasons CL and start of the prem
They would prefer Arsenal in it to City, remember when they used to do their Arsenal vs Chelsea and Liverpool vs Utd on a Super Sunday and hype it up beyond belief Spurs and City gatecrashing their beloved top 4 pissed them off big time.
Missed the game today but by the sounds of it I didn't miss much ,glad this wretched season is over what with poch getting sacked then appointing a chav as manager then the virus ,being confined to home for months .oh well onwards and upwards I just hope we learnt our lesson and get another striker in BEFORE THE START OF NEXT SEASON otherwise harry will be burnt out and missing in action again. Have a nice break lads and keep safe COYS
They were happy to relegate the Nomads for The Sheikh Mansour Team, because that let them pretend the Manchester Derby is a big game when in reality it's the dullest derby on the fixture list every season
I am delighted to be wrong...just as I would love to be proved wrong about JM not being the right manager for us.
The JM implosion will happen, it’s just a matter of when. Start well next season and he could deliver a trophy (League or FA Cup), but a bad start and he could be gone by 10-15 league games in.
Very sad to see him go, honestly Spurs won’t be the same without him. Really feels like a new chapter.
I thought the "for now" was interesting. A season with Ajax and then back to coach our academy on how to defend?
I guess we’ll see. I’ve heard him say in an interview that he didn’t want to coach but that was a few years back and times change. My guess would be that if he went down that route then he’d start at Ajax. But I have no doubts that we’ll see him in some capacity again sometime.
Would we have still lost to Newcastle and given the title to Arsenal though. That would take a lot of getting over.
If they were doing a Newcastle then Mark Clusterfuck wouldn't have been trying to win them the title when we played Chelsea
