hmmm I dunno I think hughton getting sacked and then it being him that replaced him was always the issue.. I think welshies right once they've got it in for you you're ****ed... same for players too. ...
I mean if you're a ****ing wimp those things might be a problem. Football's entertainment. Ive been bored of every single aspect of this club since the day he left. He called Pellegrini and old **** Headbutted some no mark at Hull Got us to Europe Got us to a quarter final Had exciting players playing good footie It was class, often hilarious. But if you're a giant bloody tampon, him being controversial certainly would rub you the wrong way.
more headbutting and verbal abuse is needed in my opinion. it's all far too PC now managers kissing each others arses in pressers the lot .. I want them to say they ****ing hate eachother
This exactly. We bemoan how sterile football is and then blame controversy for why we dislike managers. He was a class act, you never knew what he was gonna do or say. Even neutrals liked him, he was ****ing funny. Seriously, I know many on here adore Rafa but he's a football surgeon. Sterile safe and bland. Sometimes you want a butcher, gets the job done and gets it done messy
id rather trust rafa with this up coming job though .. we've gotta get into the top 8 then go from there.. use him basically.. I think we could end up like villa this season if Bruce or another idiot gets the money ... maybe Everton at best.. gotta get it right....
Or if you expect a degree of class from the Club’s manager. He wasn’t “controversial “ he was a grade A classless prick. And great idea let’s sack the “fan” who punched the horse. And I’m giving my head a wobble?
any manager that's an upgrade on Bruce I won't complain.. tbh if they give bruve a chance but spend I'll still not complain.. in a way he deserves a chance.. if be happy to be proved wrong and if he's struggling they'll axe him real quick
That was such an odd response, I cant tell if it was a strawman, you completely missed the point or you've been on cans. Perhaps all three. It's so weird, I won't even reply to whatever you put first.
shelvey is bad for the team .. hrs too slow and it's not enough just being good at long passes and nothing else .. free kicks corners tackling running heading he is terrible at.. he shoots alot too so 6 goals is poor..
Its a moot point. In my opinion Rafa did better because he built a team and achieved goals over a 3-season period. Bruce rocked up and achieved the same result with a squad that was largely left for him. But its not really about Rafa, we could have took a chance on an up-and-coming manager as the defence/midfield largely ran itself this season. Instead we ended up with dinosaur Bruce and tedious fans who had an axe to grind with Rafa embarassed themselves by banging on about how much more attacking the football would be. We scored 38 goals in 38 games, mostly from dead ball scenarios (Stoke-lite). The only amusing thing has been watching people desperately try to defend their positon rather than just admit the football is actually worse. "I'm enjoying the football now because it annoys people who liked Rafa" or "honest, its been slightly more attacking, you're just missing the slight nuances I see with my cataract-infested eyes"
