So who’s yours and why? for me it is a standout that ASM is the main man. Whenever he plays he lifts the team and there’s a star that we get a lot more points with him in the side. I also love the level of engagement he has with the fans.
Would have to go for Maxi. Dubgoalie generally good this season but Maxi gets people off their seats and that is one of the hardest things to do in the modern game.
I agree with this. Asm is nice on the eye but for all the huff and puff we have to look at end product and dubby has been probably the most consistent. What a crap season though. Fernandez has played well also for the best part of the season.
Obviously Maxi. He's just ****ing awesome and gets you on the edge of your seat everytime he gets the ball, fearless and will run past anyone, and makes things happen. What on earth is he doing here?
Comfortably Shelvey for me. Would you believe he was also top scorer with SIX. The lowest tally for our top goal scorer. Ever.
Get a grip lads....Dubravka is not a good goalkeeper. He can't kick snow off a rope, his distribution is shocking and his decision making over balls coming into the box from set pieces is appalling. Before anyone tells me he's a good shot stopper...for f*ck's sake most goalkeepers are.
