Are you too young to remember the late 80's & the 90's? Getting regularly pumped in europe is the norm in modern times, if anything the 5/6 years where we could compete with almost anyone are the exception. Sad but true!!
I remember coming back from being 2-0 down from the first leg against Cologne to win 3-0 at Parkhead and thinking it was the best Euro result since Real Madrid (when I was four)
You sound like you're 'beelin' - while burying your head in the sand, which is something Mr Whyte certainly hasn't done given the conditions under which he bought your club .........tick-tock, tick-tock!
WGS got the best results for us in European Competitions over the last 20 years. I know Big Sammy and big Dan has well as Loovens have come in for abuse on this forum this season. Sometimes maybe deserved and sometimes maybe not. However I was shocked and disappointed with Kayal's stupid attempt to bach heal the ball last Saturday. Loovens and big Dan were ropey enough all through and didn't need to be put unnecessary under pressure by a bit of self egotism by Kayal. Now normally I like Kayal but sometimes I think he is too erratic without Brown.
Celtic XI: Zaluska; Matthews, Majstorovic, Mulgrew, Ledley; Wanyama; Kayal, Forrest; Ki; Bangura & Hooper subs: Forster, M Wilson, Loovens, McCourt, Samaras, F Twardzik & Stokes
Not bad. Get through the first 20 minutes without making stupid schoolboy errors at the back and we might, MIGHT, have a chance. Good to see us starting with two up front. Ledley on the left and Forrest on the right. Get a few crosses in and see if Bangura can get on the end of a couple. Still expecting us to get pumped mind!
Tut-tut Mr Moderator....just as I've called you that it made me want you to **** me like I used to get ****ed by Mr Motivator
After having jumped to a 20 minute conclusion about Bangura, as any fitba supporter does, I am now jumping to another one....a better one.
