Corberan wants Gotts on loan next season at Huddersfield. Looks a smart move for all concerned. The lad Gelhart from Wigan sounds like he wants to come to Leeds but only if he can go out on loan to continue his development. Might stop this one from happening. I would have thought Bielsa would want to get his hands on him for a season before letting him go out.
Robbie Gotts was looked at during lockdown by Bielsa as he watched 19 hours of the kid. For what reason I wonder, but as he hasn't featured on the bench once since lockdown you can guess Bielsa sees him missing an ingredient. Thats 3 players we all expected to have a great season but haven't featured. Bogusz, Gotts and Davies, all extremely talented but for some reason not used?
Pretty sure Gotts came on near the end against Cardiff and was an unused substitute on another couple of occasions. He didn't feature at all for the last few games but might have picked up a knock for all we know. The decision to bring Struijk on against Barnsley proved to be crucial in a pivotal game, showing that Bielsa isn't afraid to use them when he deems it the right time.
It really would complete my season if we can get Bielsa's signature for at least another season or two.Let's hope for some great news soon. Oh and for Villa to get relegated today
pascal is a big unit and looks years older than he is. His Mrs is pretty scary too! After his first wayward touch in his first game he didn’t put a foot wrong. Very calm and very assured!
A tad butch for my tastes. Not ugly but certainly moving towards shot putter mode. Feel sorry for her she was told not to leave the house from when the team went back in till last week. Not great for a young woman given how much the lads were out training/playing. If you search insta for pascal you will see her. Can’t upload photo it’s too big apparently. Clearly family made sacrifices to help us get promoted!
meanwhile fat frank continues to enhance his reputation. Frank Lampard believes Liverpool's backroom staff broke football's touchline "code" when he launched his foul-mouthed Anfield tirade at the opposition's bench.
That's very good of them. Guess they'll probably move on when Pascal gets his juicy new contract but good people remember those who have been kind. Jamie Shak has just moved into the village where my mate lives, not cheap there so must be getting paid well enough for youngsters.
yep, I can’t see a perm player living on an average (Harrogate housing estate). Although a £500k detached house with a new land/Range Rover in the drive can’t be bad at 20!
Knew you Harrogate lot don't like them with Afro's moving local but didn't realise you're stopping perms as well.
that would be a feat of acting on my part that even Tom Hanks couldn’t manage. I am sure the theory has been explored by those running the site though!
Doc, are you mixing up Gotts & McCalmont? Pretty sure someone posted on here that Bielsa seems to have gone off him after watching the 19 hours. Unless he's injured, he hasn't featured for a long time. At one stage, he was considered to be THE replacement for KP, especially round about the time when there was the possibility that KP might leave us. Oddly enough, after a successful season as the u23 KP, he spent this season playing elsewhere. I guessed he was being 'Bielsa-trained' for another position, but his absence from the 1st team bench has made me wonder if I did indeed guess correctly. Guess we'll find out fairly soon.
