well done nat, hope some ppl will stop bagging Miller now and hope he starts scoring on a reg basis for you guys
Hey! What about me - I nearly got it right. Their added time goal devasted me - but I'll settle for the result and Miller's brace. Musty - very few were "bagging" Miller on here whatever that means, just calling it as we saw it. Remember pal, we watch the matches in real time.
hmmmm sparkey, i get to watch the prem league matches in real time as well, my comment re Miller was aimed at those who pour sh?t on the SPL and then sign one of them.
No probs Musty. It wasn't a criticism of your location - you can't help that . Just saying that those actually in the stadium can give first hand opinions. We can only call it as we see it through watching our players in the flesh, and for all his endeavour, Miller has been largely ineffective (even dissappointing) up until last night. Regarding the SPL, If you take out the two Glasgow clubs, I'm afraid it's well below Championship standard overall. That's not to say that there aren't many good players who operate up there - there certainly are, and Miller was one. Your point about some on here criticising that overall standard but then signing an individual is meaningless in that context.
What about me, I did get it right. And can someone correct the spelling of my name in the table please.
dont agree with the SPL without R and C being well below champ standard, some would be, others would not hence i would love to see a British cup to see the difference because we will never know
Musty - A British Cup wouldn't cast any light on the standard of the SPL - a cup game is a one-off not a season long campaign. If the SPL teams had to play 46 games against Championship sides over a season, then you'd see the true picture. Here's the current SPL table without the two Glasgow clubs in first and second spots (as they ALWAYS are). 3 Motherwell 9 -2 16 4 Hearts 9 3 12 5 St Johnstone 9 2 12 6 St Mirren 9 0 12 7 Kilmarnock 9 -2 10 8 Dundee Utd 9 -3 10 9 Dunfermline 8 -5 9 10 Hibernian 9 -6 9 11 Aberdeen 9 -7 6 12 Inverness CT 9 -10 5 If those teams were currently in the Championship and there were to be half a dozen relegation spots this season, you could pick all six from those ten.
