Insult to the rest of the band aside, Rob was okay, but he did have his limitations, which prevented us from attempting certain songs. The new drummer coming in is ex pro, and technically very strong. I've heard they also have a new guitarist, but I don't know how good he is. I suspect that they will use this opportunity to trim out a lot of the guitar-heavy material, and veer even more strongly towards the more popular rock material. If our keyboardist had his way, we would have been doing a lot of Queen. The only reason we didn't do it is because Daz couldn't sing it - but then again, not many people can reach the notes that Freddie could reach.
That's unfair. You find me a semi pro vocalist who could perform perfectly every one of the songs that we played.
Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Queen, Deep Purple - these are not "****" bands. There is a reason why we gigged 30-40 times every year for almost a decade. That stuff is popular. Your band would have been pelted off the stage at most of the places we played.
semi pro ffs, you fat ****, back this **** up, we've only seen you in an abortion off a band, where Daz was the star.
I saw the footage mate, those old farts at the conservative club wouldn't have had the strength to lift anything worth pelting us with
I think you need to reinvent your axe persona mate ... take on a cool name like The Edge or Slash ... might I suggest "Privet" ...
Classic HIAG innit ? 'I have an announcement, I have decided to walk away from this band because I have outgrown it. I will be forming a new band that will concentrate on progressive blues where I can showcase my talents within a musical outfit that highlights my skills' Err no, yer drummer quit so there ain't a band anymore mate
