Beholden was very impressive on debut and ought to be up to winning this bumper under a penalty. Not a betting price but he could be a very nice animal indeed.
Jumped the track across the course whilst cantering over most of the field. Not sure how it’s managed to get itself beaten. Proper engine.
Placed at good odds there. I didn't see the race but it sounded like Dido couldn't find a split at one stage. If he had been pushed out to win, it would have made a change from being "Pushed In" I am sure connections would still have been buzzing after the good run
The Racing Post assessor raised the runner up 11 lbs and the 3rd 10 lbs but that still left Darain on 89 and 2 lbs lower than his first effort. Not a great career progression I feel. Class 5 novice to a slightly lesser performance in another Class 5 novice.
