I have just looked at GCs team of the week following last weekends games. Not one Stoke player included but 3 Man Utd players selected, Nani, Jones, De Gea. I just cannot understand it. What do you others think, especially those fans who were at the Brit on Saturday
Why the hell was De Gea in the XI? He made 1 very good save. That's it. Surely other goalkeepers made more than that this weekend?
Sgt He made more than one but the save from Wilson's free kick was lucky he didn't see it. It just hit him. And Jones and Rio were CRAP. Nani, fair enough.. but what does Crooks know?
I can't think of another one. The one from Walters is one that he would've been expected to make. Had he cocked that up, which he very nearly did, he would've been widely criticised.
Sgt Wilko's and the last chance for Crouchie, when he left Rio standing... De Gea stuck his elbow out, otherwise it was a goal.. a few inches higher he wouldn't have saved it.

I cant understand why a single Stoke defender is not in the team of the week? Arsenal let in 8 goals v Man utd, Chelsea let in 3 etc etc but Stoke reduced them to only 1 goal, not only that but broke the 100% record of Man Utd this season and yet not a single mention of the Stoke City defense. Crook is w**ker!

Defensively yes so his inclusion is a little odd. He did well going forward but he's a defender at the end of the day defending should be what he's best at.
Canary Spurs IF Jones is England class, we may as well forget the World Cup.. He could not handle Walters nor Crouch nor did Rio. He's supposed to defend and he didn't for our equaliser.. by the way, Walter's was fouled before Crouch headed in and look again.. Rio was all over Crouch and he still scored... As Hansen would say "Terrible defendid"
