Championship clubs will vote on two proposed start dates for the 2020-21 season as early as next week. EFL boss Rick Parry and his board members have today put forward two calendar proposals to EFL clubs that will be voted on before next Wednesday (July 15), Hull Live understands. The first proposal will see the season start on August 29 and run until the final day of May 9. While proposal number two shifts the season a fortnight later, allowing clubs more time to prepare, starting on September 12 and ending on May 22. It is expected that Championship clubs will opt to delay the season until September with the fixtures for the 2019-20 season currently set to end on July 22, allowing only the majority of sides only a month to prepare for a new campaign.
We won’t need to worry about this as the chances of us being in the Championship are close to **** all chance.
The 2020/21 season dates have now been confirmed, it will be held from September 12th - May 23rd in all leagues.
We move on, or down I should say... https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...ws/breaking-efl-fixtures-season-dates-4361145
good good... that gives our leader 6 weeks to rally the playing staff and go to war injury free.... oh hang on, hasn't he just had the chance to do that but 12 weeks...
Need to get used to looking at this I guess. Accrington Stanley and Rochdale, the two standout games to look forward to. Look at Bolton at the bottom. Worrying times ahead. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-one/table Que sera, sera Whatever will be, will be We're going to Shrewsbury Que sera, sera
the lack of the big cities is quite refreshing, with only one confirmed London club (AFC Wimbledon), and probably Charlton depending on legal outcomes elsewhere in the Championship. OK, I'm done, that was my one positive thought for the day.
What you reckon. 1st game. Rochdale away. If you're not depressed enough by this prospect, mighty Crewe will be the first visitors. Two games played ..0 points.. Gd-4

Odds on to be a morning kick off with pubs closed from here to Lincoln for both games Probably all ticket too.. Humbs finest 'all police leave cancelled' #doublebubble. With a behave or else sermon headline in the local rag and on Look North on the eve of the game from a stern faced chief of police.
