    ... and sorely regret.

I never saw Pearl Jam despite them playing our club 3 times, each time I was at a Sunderland match.

I never saw Ian Dury and went to see the Damned for the millionth time when he was on a mile away in London.

I was booked for the 2020 Folk by the Oak festival which was called off because of Covid. There was Richard Thompson and Seasick Steve on the bill who I've never seen and, now, may never.

I had the night off when 'Pauline and the Icebergs' played Retford Porterhouse where I worked on the door for a while ... turned out it was Siouxsie and the Banshees warming up for a major international tour <doh>

I wanted to go to The Royal Albert Hall 2005 Cream re-union concerts, totally sold out. Got it on DVD and they were great, 3 of the best ever.

Every time someone special dies, who I haven't seen, I kick myself.

There are very few 'cornerstones' of music left and that's a shame even if some people haven't yet realised.

As Joni Mitchell said, " ....

My son asked to go to Milton Keynes to see Bowie and I declined ...

... although he did drag me to Glasgow for Noel Gallagher.

Cream were the strangest band ever ...

    ... and classically brilliant.

Modern CG music is clever but could never duplicate Cream.

I missed quite a few excellent acts performing during the weekend at Glastonbury in 83, all because a 'dumb ****wit' thought it'd be amusing to spike my beer with an hallucinogenic ...

Also I missed Ginger Baker playing in Newcastle (Cluny) a while back

I’ve never seen The Cure live.

Turning this on its head a bit - I did see Led Zeppelin at the Argus Butterfly in Peterlee - it must have been around 1969. Seems unbelievable now!

They were on at Rock City when I worked there but was 'sacked' as I was quite often then asked back ...

... even the doormen who weren't into modern music raved about them.

    C'est la vie ....

Their Glastonbury 2019 set is/was on BBC iPlayer. Fantastic range of songs! Is it 4 times they’ve headlined Glastonbury now.

Pearl Jam are probably my favourite band since I first heard Ten in 1991. Only seen them twice but wasnt disappointed. I think his voice is amazing and even bought his ukulele songs album.

Dire straits. I like **** loads of music but know very little about any of it. I listen to stuff I like; pop, rock ... anything really. Dire Straits however....are one band I would pay alot of money to see live.

I always just assumed I'd see her eventually then she was gone, a real tragedy ...

... like her or not she was unique and exciting.

I've never seen Pink Floyd as a group, seen Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour separately but not as a group. Wasnt really into them when they were together but now I'd give my right arm to see the play. Greatest band of all time and I wished I'd realised that before they split.
