As I've been saying for 3+ months I'm expecting it to still be Ashley.

Until the point it is announced he is gone then I don't believe he's going.

Obviously I hope not and will desist from saying "I told you so" as I'll take no satisfaction from it. It'd be much better to head you guys telling me "I told you so".

 

Of course all the doubters want to be wrong on this one. No one will be wrong, everyone will be either made up or gutted.

 

I can't believe why this takeover has taken over 16 weeks. If the Saudi is good enough to run the biggest petrol company in the world and the Rueben Bros are well respected businessmen then surely they comply with fit and proper persons. PL are a disgrace in this matter.
If Ashley is still here for 20/21 season I expect season tickets to fall to a very low number.

 

Looking at the polls in voting threads there's been a big shift towards it failing on here ..

it's pretty much 50/50 now but early on it was like 90% of us saying it was on

I did notice there was a report of a third party stepping in and not Mauriss this week.. that's a possibility something coming out of left field
