Very much appears that the next big risk is the resumption of school: Israel's explosion in cases seems to have directly stemmed from a period where you had the air conditioning cranked up in schools, and kids were not wearing masks:

Oh god, Le Tiss continues his one way descent into bellendery. He’s becoming, for me, the equivalent of Morrissey for old Smiths fans...

He's becoming for us like Morrissey is for Smiths fans.

EDIT: Oh, I see I already said that! :emoticon-0138-think

Never mind I missed it first time round. I can remember things 50 years ago clearly, recent events bit of a problem. Tried that as an excuse with Mrs Jab when I forgot something didn't cut much ice.

I have stopped working because of the small risk that I could contract the coronavirus, pass it on and kill my wife.
I think that part of the problem is that some people don’t put themselves in the position of others and as a result they don’t always understand that they are being insensitive, or stupid.

Absolutely. The other reason MLT’s tweet is so crashingly, blunderingly, idiotic is that there is simply no comparison between COVID-19 deaths and road traffic deaths. The last 3 years numbers for deaths in road traffic accidents in the UK are respectively 1,793; 1,782; and 1,870. A large proportion of those deaths would be because of a mistake made by themselves, i.e. not caused by anyone else.

On the other hand, every single one of the (probably at least) 50,000 people who have died of COVID-19 in this country caught the virus from someone else.

Personally I feel that you are unlikely to get Covid from aerosols....I suspect it is detectable, but probably not at a dangerous level.
Will I wear a mask....of course I will. I won’t risk other people’s lives on a feeling I have. After all it isn’t dangerous to wear a mask...unless you believe the crazies.

I have some family members who post similar annoying bollocks on social media. I probably forgive Matt more readily than them tbh.

You would have 'loved' being here a couple of weeks ago. One of Mrs No7's 'friends' came over for a drink. Was spouting off all night about 5G how it will kill us, and how Coronavirus wasn't real - apparently it is government made to make us so scared we don't go out, then they can inject us with a vaccine with a microchip in us, and then they finally control us. She was dead serious. I was stunned into almost silence (those that know me know that is unusual)

I tried to reason with her and explain about ionising and non-ionising radiation, but 'that is rubbish what the scientists have made you believe all these years'. She then mixed up her conspiracies as said 5G is to spy on us (as some of the masts have cameras on them..a good place to put a camera I pointed out), I said I thought you said 5G was causing coronavirus. After about 30 mins, I asked her if the earth was flat.

"It might be, all we have a doctored pictures that they put out there"

I left after that and went upstairs. I couldn't cope with anymore stupidity.

Interestingly, she hasn't come back. My theory is that she has either been zapped by a 5G laser ray or actually went for a long walk and fell off the edge of the world.

I've been in two minds whether to post this, because it is equally disgusting and bizarre.
    Last night my daughter and me went out for a late walk, around the times the pubs kick out. And as we passed a couple in the street, in their early fifties as a guess, the guy did this big fake cough at us as he passed by. He carried on walking, without looking back, as I turned around and shouted;
'What you doing you f******* t**t?'
First time in years I've had the red mist descend on me, that childhood rage where everything else disappears. Lucky for me my kid grabbed my arm and said lets go, and also he kept walking.
That sort of thing is going to make normal people lose their ****. Just what is wrong with some people?
