Not surprised as his contract ran out I think at the end of June and as he didn't seem to be in favour thought he might as well go.
Came eventually.. Hardly played at first. Poor discipline under Silva. Best spell under Javi. Then got injured.
A chance of European football for this chap. I guess most noted for that Man City game - maybe he was made the scapegoat. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...ier-leaves-watford-joins-granada-permanently/
No surprise really - he's done well there,. The Europa League qualification spot isn't something he would be likely to get with us for a while.
Not a transfer but Gomes has said he is leavening as expected. Very good servant for the club and certainly played his part in a successful era.
A really good guy both on and off the pitch. He has constantly been around to help the young players especially when they needed assistance with the language. I wish him the very best for his future.
Interesting that Villa have sacked their sporting director despite staying up mainly due to a lot of expensive "flops" last summer. https://www.expressandstar.com/spor...garcia-pitarch-after-premier-league-survival/ Obviously looking for a change in direction. Well we can say the lack of good recruiting has cost us our spot but Giraldi still have a job.
Sounds like an interesting possibility - Sweden International Sebastian Andersson for £4m from Union Berlin. As for the Scottish giants battling us for his signature, I doubt very much that Aberdeen could compete against Championship wages - not that long ago they sold their star striker to Salford because they couldn't match the wages offered. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/07/...-giants-for-12-goal-striker-available-for-4m/
Deeney to Burnley? https://www.burnleyexpress.net/spor...sign-168-goal-striker-how-likely-deal-2926223
