Yeah, but no-one buys the RP <laugh>

Just wondering if there was a reason that Ben Poste wasn't riding it.

Very taking debut from Nicest. I thought she had enough to do from behind Willow and Talacre but she made up the ground and came between those two to take it up. Willow fell away but Talacre kept on well and Nicest only held on by a head. You would think she will come forward a fair bit from this and Bet365 have her at 33/1 for the Oaks if anyone fancies a flutter for that one.

Jockey Gavin Ryan's 5lb claim probably did no harm and he followed up on the odds-on favourite in the next for Donnacha. I looked at his stats last night and with today's two results he is now 6 winners and 7 places for Donnacha in 32 rides.

Megan's only ride of the night, shes riding well and it could be ready to bounce back. One from the 'Blake Barn' in memory of SBC!!

Third Kingdom ran his race and looked to hold a chance of winning it but then the favourite looked like claiming him but Etonian came right through finishing right over the top of them to cause the upset at 28/1.

Nice performance from the winner and he is entered in next year's Derby. Obviously not fancied today and he wouldn't have been on many betting slips.

Flyin' High was a massive drifter but he was not disgraced in 4th. Very green and will come on from this but the hope of doing a Kameko looks slim. Stoute's colt Thunder Son was dismal and fell away to be stone last.

Impressive from Etonian and he was initially denied a clear run before coming right away and the runner up will have to find something to reverse the form if they meet again.

I noticed that Queen Daenerys was out at Longchamp today. 4th to Love in the Epsom Oaks she could only manage the same position in a Listed contest today. John Gosden's Majestic Noor was favourite for the race at about 2/1, which was surprising, as she is only rated 84 on official figures, having scrambled home off 80 in a four runner handicap race last time.

I know the French racing is generally pretty weak but it would be bad for the game if Listed races are being won by horses rated in the 80's after four starts. Royer-Dupre's Valia won it comfortably and she is now 2/2. By Sea The Stars out of Veda, who was a decent filly with the same trainer, she could be worth keeping an eye on because this represented a decent improvement from her first start. She clearly stays well.
