There’s plenty of evidence, you’re just swerving it.

    The Saudis banned beIN again.
You’re being linked with absolute dirt again.
You’ve just signed a new shirt sponsor deal
There’s been no news on this for 4 months.

    It’s not happening bro.

Well I wont claim to be surprised.

My main gripe is that if there was simply no talk about a takeover at all we'd be talking about how we were safe with a month to go (and I had us as relegation fodder) and have one of the most exciting front lines we've had in ages (they cannot finish for toffee but ASM, Almiron and either Joe/Gayle dashing forward does create chances). We've got a young side and overall I'm happy with the small steps in the right direction the club is taking.

But oh no, we all have to be sad because we're not being bought out by spurious billionaires for spurious purposes. People can, and will, say what they like about Ashley but he's a safe pair of hands and I'd back us to be in the top flight under him once half the clubs around us have gone bust from overspending.

    exciting front line ?

we actually had a better one last season

    every stat is worse

    points
    goals
    goals conceded
    possession

    and on and on

safe pair of hands? we've dropped fro European regulars to being relegated more times in 13 years than about 100 years before.

The stats tell you, correctly, that they cannot finish in the way Rondon and Perez could so the goals and assists are lower.

Do you think Almiron is better this year?
Do you think ASM is a massive improvement?

My eyes tell me from watching us play that we're better, we've just had an absolute donkey in front of goal (Joelinton). Even if we'd played the limited talents of Gayle all season I reckon we'd have 5-10 points more.

Rondon was exactly the player we needed last season and pitched in with I think 12 goals, Joelinton has got 2 this season from - I'd argue - better service. Overall we've scored 5 fewer goals. As I said they're exciting but cannot finish for toffee, I think that's correct. You seem to be reading this as me saying they're better and pin it down to stats. Go for it if you want but feel free to re-read what I actually said before arguing against it.

we don't have rondon mate that safe pair of hands opted for that donkey you're talking about .

look we will go around in circles here in strongly against Ashley you aren't and ad for better football I think people should go and watch our effective organised play on the second half of last season where we took more points than any club outside the top 6 let's leave it there mate... we don't agree that's all.

the point is were a smaller club my quite a margin than we were before Ashley.

I don't see is as anything but a small club now... that's the truth .. no money and been nowhere near even competing with the mid table clubs even for a decade
