We've been a bit "meh" because we'd already won it. Hard to keep up the levels we'd set with nobody chasing us, the job was done. There are people who want this to be a lesser win and I get that but there's no taking it away from us, CL then League in the last 2 seasons we've been brilliant. Can we continue and win it again? We'll be close but there's a lot of competition.
You don’t think Klopp’s lost the dressing room then? Heavy Metal football has gone a bit Limp Bizkit recently
Nah, that’s not strictly true. As your form had dipped pre lock down and you didn’t have the title completely in the bag at the restart. It’s also not about what you’d prefer people to remember, it’s about what they will remember, and this season will be remembered primarily for COVID and the weird empty stadium restart. That’s just how it is. Yes, you deserved it and yes you’ve had two great seasons, we’ll see if you can make it 3 shortly. Letting Werner go to Chelsea is a massive **** up imo, and not a footballing decision. Your owners are the luckiest ****s in football.
Klopp wanted him, the player apparently wanted to play for Klopp. He should be a Liverpool player now. Only he isn’t, because their owners wouldn’t stump up the cash. Incredible really. He’ll be a cracking signing for Chelsea and from what I’ve seen of him, that release clause fee will end up looking a steal. You’ve literally just bought at least 15-20 league goals.
I hope I do too, because that will almost certainly mean I’ll be getting a postcard from Her Maj (she’ll still be alive. Lizards live forever)
When a dip is losing a game In the league I will take it every season the cups We lost to Chelsea - no shame there We lost to AMadrid - again no shame there In fact AMadrid are set up perfectly to beat us. we do need to find a way of beating that type of team but all were business end of season So Do think it will be a great season next season though Will be a tough league
I never realised until this morning, that Barnsley survived the drop, until there 91st minute winner! They survived, due to Wigan's 12 point deduction, which relegated them, along wiht Charlton and Hull.
Pending Wigan’s appeal and the Sheff Wed situation the FL have allowed to just drag on forever making it completely unfair on all the teams down there. Would be surprised if Wigan’s appeal is successful though as it would open up all sorts of legal action from Barnsley who just happen to be the epitome of living within a club’s means.
‘Mon you useless wilting pansy gooners, have one of your rare show-up-and-play efforts at Wembley, so we can all laugh at Tottenham
So £24M has vanished from Bristol Rovers debt, while they've had no football for the last quarter, and the new season will more than likely start without match day revenue. Then we wonder why football is a mess. please log in to view this image
