Carrillo did have some support because his goals/minute rate at Monaco was crazy, but that was mostly because he'd come in when they were up 4 and score against desperately outmatched teams. Turns out there is quite a difference between that and being the primary offensive weapon of a PL team.
No doubt Carrillo is our worst ever signing - but it has happened now we need to get rid, even if it is on a bloody free! As for Lemina, I don't want him back. Even if you put aside his attitude, he doesnt have the work ethic to fit into Ralph's system and will simply not put the yards in. Get what we can for him and reinvest.
I am unsure of the name, but there was a Argentinean side lasy year who were interested in Carillo, I'm sure if they came back in and we lowered the fee we could make it win win.
I don't understand why people thought he was lazy, he always closed opposition down and he was always looking for a forward pass. Perhaps like Armstrong he would fit this formation better but his tackling would need to improve. He would surely be an asset if fit and raring to go.
Suspect the wages will be the bigger issue. Doubt an Argentinian side could get anywhere near what we're paying him.

Well I'm sure if we lowered the fee enough the buying club could offset wages with a sign on fee. Then the wages wouldn't be a issue. He only has one year left anyway.

Yeah those signings aren't great but Carrillo was our record signing! Dread to think of how much he has cost us in wages to play for Leganes
Yep, at least lemina is genuinely good. I don't blame him for hating playung under Hughes and pellegrino Tbh. Carillo is just an absolute waste of space. He looked ****e against league one opposition
It such a shame that Lemina is no longer considered and his attitude is bad, As he would arguably make us much better.
Anyone know what he has been like in Turkey? Looking at WhoScored it seems he has been one of Galatasary's best players, although they play Ryan Babel so I can't imagine the competition was that intense. They also finished 5th in the Super Lig - which is really poor for them.
