The Third Annual Tanguy Ndombele Transfer Saga Watch/Brozovic Watch
Oh boy, it's been a whole year since we've been linked with him, eh?

The Corriere dello Sport are reporting that Inter are interested in Tanguy, although we're insisting on a cash + player deal - that player being either Marcelo Brozovic or Milan Skriniar

Just a reminder that the last player Inter bought from us is doing so well they're already looking to offload him...

Leeds CB Gaetano Berardi has been ruled out for nine months with an ACL tear

Foyth's definitely headed that way on loan, isn't he?

Great news. CB is clearly his future from now on and we’ve looked a lot tougher defensively for the most part since the restart, Toby and Dave have done well in Dier’s absence so it should at least “re-boost” the competition for CB places which for the last 18 months or so has been woeful when taking form into consideration.

With those three recapturing form, plus Tanganga (get him signed up now!) breathing down their necks and no CL football next season, I wouldn’t be surprised if a CB signing is put on hold this summer to help focus funds towards the RB, DM and ST issues, and anywhere else Jose may feel necessary (new winger?).

If we can sneak into the Europa League, then giving Vertoghen an extension might be an idea.
Alderweireld, Sanchez, Dier, Vertoghen and Tanganga would give us plenty of depth there.

Yeah that’d be ideal, though I can’t see it. Doubt he’d fancy another year as 4th or so choice. I think a return to Ajax or maybe somewhere in Italy is on the cards, should be able to play a season or two as 1st choice in either.

Would like us to bring him back as a coach tbh.
Think having gifted, long serving players as coaches can be very beneficial.

Spurs will finish 7th and Arsenal will win the FA Cup to deny European football.

I know everyone here disagrees but I think missing out and having less fixtures next season will be a massive boost for the league and will make getting back into top 4 easier.

Goons will comfortably beat watford and Villa while we play Palace (who have lost 7 on the trot) ... we all know what's going to happen in that one <wah>

Yeah agree, I think just hiring recently retired players in general is really beneficial even if they never played for us. I was really happy with Matty Taylor's appointment to the youth coaching setup, I know he's a massive Spurs fan as well so that may have played a part in his/ the club's decision. Mason, Archibald-Henville and Blackwood are all involved too last time I checked and obviously we had Scotty Parker for a year. They all understand the modern game and what it takes to make it at various levels which can help those who are on the verge of the first team or set to go on loan to lower leagues.

If Jan ever wanted to come back when he hangs up his boots, the club should definitely be offering a role.

I really hope we get Europa. It’s an added chance of a trophy and a platform to help blood some players through in certain games.

What you said will likely happen though, be a smaller version of when Chelsea won the CL when we finished 4th.

Minor target, Nathan Ferguson, sealed his move to Palace on a three year deal.

Palace always seemed favourites after nearly signing him in Jan.

    Aarons it is then... <whistle>

Aarons congratulated Skippy on his new contract on Instagram so he’s basically a done deal <laugh>

Would be interesting to see Jose attempt to win it with Spurs, at least you know he’d take it seriously.

Look at how many teams have done well when they don’t have Europe to focus on though. I think Spurs really would benefit
