Going back to the thread title just for a sec, I don't see why Watford would want Johnson in the first place ?
And given their recent record of sacking multiple Managers per season over the last few years, you'd think he'd be very wary even if they did want to speak to him about the vacancy.

Agree - and whilst LJ may want to get back into management at some point he's hardly what I could call 'desperate' for money, with his property empire and shrewd investments (if the rumours are true).

A verbal rollicking i expect and the player concerned went with his tail between his legs to the powers that be.

Indeed. Plus whatever severance Uncle Steve has provided him with.
If he gets back into management, I would eat my proverbial hat if he gets to manage a Premiership team. L1 or possibly another lower Championship side.

His legacy debate is still very much still part of this forum (and OTIB) though!!!!
LJ lives on....... well, the debate does anyway <laugh>

Whatever his achievements (or not) on the pitch and in the dugout, he must take the undisputed award for the most scrutinised, discussed and debated individual in the history of football forums ever <laugh>
