    Even if Wigan had been deducted the 12 points, unless Hull and Barnsley both get points from their last games, they wouldn't have a case. They wouldn't have overetaken them and gone down anyway.

    If Wigan get something from their last home game (against Fulham) then the matter would be over and dead becasue they'd have stayed up on merit.

    Still a bugger's mix of a system though - the EFL cannot seem to push things along and get it sorted one way or another.

    Massive shame for Berardi, this injury could finish his playing days, he really has endured some bad luck in his career. Hope Gaetano recovers soon.

    Not at all surprised we are looking to recruit from Argentina, hopefully we sign one of their big named players.

    As for the Wigan striker I know nothing of Gelhardt. I'll have to call my Wigan pal & acquire some information on the lad
