Yeah it was a break and shift done a few years ago for the rebrand, they set it up the same as the Bundesliga with the ‘20 shares’ thing and as such that is why it won’t show the link, it’s not that they are hiding it (it’s perfectly legitimate and gives clubs greater control), it’s just that that is how a split share of the league would run. It remains a registered FA company as I said, uses all of their rules and a regulations and a lot of their people. It was indeed the FA who did a sensational job of making it the most watched league in the world, the most valuable league in the world, the richest league in the world. In reality, we could do with the FA taking over from the EFL as well and using the same magic on it. Toyota has Lexus, Nike has Jordan etc. Separate, but inexplicably linked.
