I hope Berardi is looked after, you couldn't find a more loyal player. I hear the contract talks with Bielsa have already started, can't imagine he'd walk away now. Just reflecting on the week that was, how on earth did we go from bricking it against Barnsley last Thursday to ending up winning the league in a canter. Unreal week.
Morning fellow supporters of a Premiership team. This was said at the weekend, general legal opinion abroad is that we’re stuck with Augustin, but we’ll see. Might not be a disaster anyway, he must have been sanctioned by Marcelo initially so he must have promise - all we can hope for is a good attitude and luck with injuries.
Good Morning to Matt and co from a sunny Bardsey So itsLeeds 49ers and I still believe all we have to do with Augustine his fails his medicaland of course will he still want to come I doubt it Geldard seems a steal lets put it to bed with Krasner at once I would pay Berardi until he his fit to sign for someone else as a thank you for his efforts
They will just make end of tax year in june/July next season so £100 million tv money offsets any loss.
Not going to derail this thread Chesh, but Cardiff didn't employ any agents - McKay was working on a 10% commission for Nantes.
The Augustin thing is quite simple in my opinion. Pay the 12m in the usual 3m a year pieces. Train the ****e out of him for a season. Hell either come up to scratch or we sell to loan him on recouping the last three payments we have to make
And while they're arguing about that, we can discuss things like which new striker would we like, how much would we like to spend, will 50k seats be enough in pl and do we want to play scum midweek or at a weekend. Decisions, decisions, not easy being a Leeds fan these days eh Chesh
Don't you read these threads from the start? Any points deduction decision would be appealed. Due to the short timespan to the season end, it would be deferred to next season.
Paper talk, all apart from the 12 point deduction tomorrow night, after that no one knows what will happen. If say dull win and Wigan lose, Wigan appeal, do you then think Hull won't take court action on being relegated in Wigan's place.
The points deduction would be appealed and that would delay it's implimetation. These things take time and it's time the EFL haven't got. The only complication to the position at Wigan would be assessing the value of the club by the administrators when discussing with potential purchasers.
