Somewhat ironic that Newcastle formed part of the ‘Hateful 8’ PL clubs who apparently collectively cried their eyes out in a letter to CAS a few months ago, demanding Citeh’s ban was upheld. Guess the other 7 ....
New Fun88 shirt sponsorship deal announced with some words from charnley about looking forward to the next phase.. Some saying it means nothing, but personally I'd have expected the Saudis to use their own sponsor. I'm officially in the its not happening camp
But mate, this was you, literally yesterday; nufc is a week away from being the 9th most successfulclub in England with the richest owners in the world. 24 hrs is a long time in the Newcastle fakeover saga it seems bud.
I won't pretend I understand how this all works, but Im not encouraged by this announcement that's for sure.
I've had confirmation from the Zerganoid overlord masters (they communicate to me through the vibrations of the washing machine, it's a complicated process but i can try and explain if you want) that the takeover is going ahead a week on Friday (31st July) after the season is completed. Unfortunately the first stage of the take-over of the human race is due the following day so we better get the #cans in for a heavy night.
Ironic but I think not true? Arsenal, Chelsea, Burnley, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Wolves were the eight top-flight clubs involved in the collective approach to Cas
Oh the two places I've read it (one the BBC, though i cannot recall the other - i'll see if i can find it) have quoted the 8 clubs I mention and NOT Newcastle. I guess it may not be 100% known.
Ok these two - not claiming they are the most reputable only saying this is where i read it: https://www.teamtalk.com/news/man-city-think-arsenal-are-behind-cas-plot https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53479675 https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/.../leicester-city-liverpool-among-eight-3984486 Indeed, i'm yet to read anywhere which names Newcastle as one of the teams.
nufc were reported as the 8th tbh mate.. I read it myself... whether its true of course is anyone's guess
In these reports Arsenal are the 8th. They aren't mentioned in the sections i put forward as the story is predominantly about them.
No mate, Samuel first reported this and listed those involved as; Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, Leicester, Newcastle and Burnley
