anyway the problem with players like max or ben arfa is that over time it's just give it to max , give it to max ... there's no style of play .. just a big mess and the opposition have already figured it out..

Pretty much. Depends on how well he copes with being constantly fouled and doubled up on.

Would most likely do better in a team with better players than we currently have.

The more I read about Saudi banning Bein the more it confuses me. It just doesn’t make any sense at all.

Even if you take out the takeover it doesn’t make sense. Why go to all that hassle to tackle piracy to then do that.

And why are Bein so quiet about it? Given there more than vocal opinions on the takeover they have hardly said a word?

Are they quiet because they know they've been caught out? Also throws everything else into doubt, regarding any testimonies made via Bein?

Possibly. But they are being oddly quiet. Or maybe it’s just me missing some news about it?

I mean to legally ban them is pretty strong and there must be some hard evidence.

2 ways to view everything at the minute

no PL football broadcast - if no-one can watch it piracy gone and dealt with quickly
Or they have thrown their teddy
Bein quiet - a deal done to everyone’s satisfaction behind closed doors or they just ran out of ways to slag SA off

No news is good news to me but will start to waver if no announcement from Monday
Not worried at all about fun88 deal as any pointer to anything on/off

BeIn are lying ****s. Qatar are a corrupt nation.

    Not that SA are angels.

    The takeover will be done.

But it isn’t just premiership football. It’s all sport that Bein broadcast.

That’s what surprises me. You would think that the public would be a bit upset about that?

In fact Bein is not just sports. It’s everything.

Though the comments from Qatar were rather odd. They said more about SA's 2030 sporting vision than anything else.

Just reading that this is the 2nd time Bein has been banned in SA. It happened it 2018 and it was because there was propaganda material broadcast by Bein.

That the monopolisation by Bein meant that this propaganda couldn’t be stopped. That SA citizens had to watch it if they wanted to watch premium sport.

You can see why Bein did what they did. And beoutQ was formed and illegal streaming started. Whether or not the government where involved has been proven I think.

You know what beoutQ stands for?

So by Bein doing what they have done everything related to the original problem is back to square one. And I don’t get that at all?

Some people are saying it has no bearing on the takeover. Fair enough. But the action itself of banning Bein means the only way for people to watch sport is to do so illegally.

And this is the most likely reason why our deal has not been approved?

If it was just a Saudia Arabia v Qatar dispute I might be concerned but considering other nations are in dispute with Qatar then I think we shouldn't be worried

Yes I read that and wondered why they would drop that. In looking into it further SA are using sport to try and clean up their act. Which is fair enough.

But now they have no sport at all from outside of SA which defiantly does not tie in with their sporting vision?

Would be very interesting to see if any other countries follow suit and do what SA have done. That would give me more comfort.
