    I am stuck at work and I am bored. I need suggestions as to what to look up on the Internet.

    the watford board has a chess league...i'm crap, but apparently there's some good players...it's run by Toby, i'm sure he wouldn't mind you joining ;) The site is great coz it can teach you how to play as well :)

    'Course, if you don't want to join the league, it's a good site to join anyway...if you're bored :)

    They took Solitaire off the computers <grr> and there is only so many Youtube videos you can watch before getting fed up with it.

    I have just ordered a book on how to play chess. Hornette has put it in my head so I am finally going to learn how to play

    I just thought if I'm going to be stuck on the night shift forever I may as well do something useful with it. Although I am also studying to become CCNA certified but I forgot my text book tonight <doh>

    Its a good game but you need to play someone on your level... I m not great but i like moving quickly, if i wait for minutes between moves i walk away.... Backgammon is probably the best game IMO....I deal most Casino games and enjoy playing blackjack but backgammon is very skillful

    Chess is the game of kings and it will be worth learning as I have always wanted to. Plus I'm sick of draughts

    i love backgammon too...haven't played for a while...but i'm better at backgammon than chess. I'm hoping to get to the point in chess where i actually start planning moves though lol
