Unless there are clauses in that agreement pertaining to inability to broadcast then it makes no diff. Of course there’s the possibility that Qatar are now seeking a new agreement excluding KSA.

Jorge has gone to Benfica. Apparently Rafa could be announced for Flamengo within 48 hours. Personally I think he's using his agent to try and force other clubs hands, would be a strange move, but the Brazilians are calling Don Rafa the God of Football management. I had no idea, but apparently in 2018, he spent some time at Flamengo. So it could be true.

There's no ****ing way a Saudi backed team would agree a "long term" deal with Fun88, a Chinese gambling firm, when Saudia or Aramco could sponsor the shirt for considerable more. Still seems very odd for them to address Piracy issues to then block Bein. I am wondering if they played ball, then asked the PL for the rights and they said we can’t. So SA threw the toys out of the pram.
