Wouldn't be NUFC if we weren't.

Add in that it makes absolutely zero difference to the PL - they’ve already sold the rights and took the cash. Unless there are clauses in that agreement pertaining to inability to broadcast then it makes no diff.

Of course there’s the possibility that Qatar are now seeking a new agreement excluding KSA.

Rafa is being heavily linked to replace Jorge Jesus at Flamengo.

Going from one center of the epidemic to another, what is he thinking if true.

    Jorge has gone to Benfica.

Apparently Rafa could be announced for Flamengo within 48 hours.

Personally I think he's using his agent to try and force other clubs hands, would be a strange move, but the Brazilians are calling Don Rafa the God of Football management.

I had no idea, but apparently in 2018, he spent some time at Flamengo. So it could be true.

There’s far to many straws being thrown around.

Can we all just accept it is not happening for our own sanity.

I find that sanity is over rated. Especially when it comes to Newcastle

Fun88 have agreed a new "long term" sponsorship deal with NUFC.

    Is this the end?

Even the gossip column seems to have relented, and the stories are now about how meagre Bruce's transfer kitty will be over the summer, rather than the billions his replacement will get.

    Not ****in 'appening.

There's no ****ing way a Saudi backed team would agree a "long term" deal with Fun88, a Chinese gambling firm, when Saudia or Aramco could sponsor the shirt for considerable more.

I just wonder how long this has actually been dead - I go back to that comment from some trader who dealt with PCP, they reckoned Staveley herself had given up around May.

Like I say I think it was dead in the water when SA blocked Bein. That was them throwing the toys out of the pram.

Still seems very odd for them to address Piracy issues to then block Bein.

I am wondering if they played ball, then asked the PL for the rights and they said we can’t. So SA threw the toys out of the pram.

Also they haven't mentioned the length of the contract which is strangely odd
