Saw an Asian lad celebrating outside Elland Road in some footage I was like ‘Ruuuuuun’ but it seems as though he wasn’t lynched and was enjoying it maybe things have changed
They're not really like Newcastle. You have to go back a bit, but Leeds have actually won things in living memory. The last time Newcastle won anything, the open topped bus was pulled by a horse.
It is a hell of a long time for a club the size of Newcastlè to go without a major trophy ! Not checked but was it the 50s ?
You remind me of an Italian bloke I played chess with on holiday once. When I beat him, he said "Ah, never mind. We beat you English in the war." I just stared at him, and he said, "Yes. Julius Caesar".
Fair enough. But you can give slightly more emphasis to the ones that happened since the invention of electricity.
no reason to do that at all... I'd go further and say the trophies win in times when the players were in general from the city they played for count more personally... hey ho we're **** now regardless the comparison with Leeds is more about the one club city and large fan base any way.. right now both clubs are certainly similar.... it was the makems crying again that started this. I just said I was pleased for Leeds and have my reason why .. I see them like us was pretty much it..... Newcastle have won alot more, so I was being fair imo...
Everyone likes Newcastle though. They're sort of the neutral's favourites, for some reason. Everyone hates Leeds. Always have, always will. That's just how it is.
I dunno I think everyone hates everyone these days... personally I hate the clubs that win things... ... I'm jelous basically and that's a fact
I'm glad you mentioned all football should count. Seeing china invented in 472 bc it means we have been world champions far more than everyone else
