A sentimental decision to give the pen to Ings...I bet james wouldn’t have missed twice.

Can anyone definitely confirm sub rules as I can’t find the evidence. Cherries made subs on 4 occasions today - one at half time?

Half time doesn't count, its 3 stoppages of play

You can do half time and 3 in game stoppages.

It's almost impossible for Watford to stay up on goals scored. (it might, just might, become relevant between Villa and Bmouth - but not Watford). So if there is a two-way or three-way tie for 34, Watford's need to have an outright lead on GD.

At the moment that lead is four goals. But because a tie on 34 required them to lose twice, that will be a minimum deduction of two goals to that four goal lead. And because a tie on 34 requires at least one of Villa and Bmouth to win, that will be another deduction to that four goal lead.

That gives Watford absolutely no room to play with if they are tied with Bmouth. And barely any room to play with if they are tied with Villa (Villa's defeat will be the one result which does assist Watford in relation to GD.)

i thought that the result was excellent although not unexpected. Shame Ings missed the penalty and that VAR had an influence in the result. I would have preferred it if the game had been won without controversy.

Intriguing to read that some feel Watford are likely to get relegated. I cannot see either Bournemouth or Villa picking up any further points which makes it unimportant whether Watford add to their tally of 34 points. The decision to sack Pearson seems odd because I think it will have so little bearing on whether they will stay up or go down. Makes you wonder if the owners know what they are doing.

I was finding the constant slagging off of Vest as annoying as the references to 9 - 0. Give it a rest and get behind our players, criticise them, yes, but encourage them to do better, it is what a true supporter would do...

My nine year old daughter cried when the Bournemouth goal was disallowed, because ‘their manager seemed really nice, he was really happy but now he is really upset‘
    Where have I gone wrong!?

Ain’t life strange. At the beginning of the season, we’d have considered a last game v Sheffield United as an easy game....perhaps that we might even send them down. They’ve done well
