Stewart Donald resigns as chairman

I hope people aren't placing their faith in Rodwell. This will only end badly. The Scunthorpe fans were mocking us when he landed here FFS.
Here is a man that was tasked with getting Scunthorpe to take the field in their new stadium as a Championship club. They ended up 20th in League Two.

I thought of writing something very similar, but then thought better of it, all I can say is he sounded less than convincing.

honestly lads, i just do not care...all i want is to, finally, see the club settled and actually moving forward again...we needed a 'steady the ship' period and love him or hate him, SD managed that part, the downside is of course that we completely stagnated with no apparent plan.

it may mean very little in the bigger picture but as it is a small positive sign i will grab it with both hands and cling on.

Actually it jeans a little bit. Means he’s not taking a wage from the club any more. As chairman he’d have been taking a wage.

I've just about lost track mate.

It looks like Donald wants to take money out of us when he sells, and get his undeserved profit.

That will benefit him whereas I don't think putting us into administration would.

 

Would Sartori fund SD for this season. Wouldnt take much. If we get promotion SD will probs get his profit and Sartori his money back. If we do not get promotion SD sells at a loss and Sartori has lost a relatively minor amount of cash for him.

 

Problem being Sartori’s money isn’t his, it’s his stepdads.

 

If he has grabbed £20m and if he puts us into administration and gets £16m for the club, comes back to £36m.... A lot of ifs I know

 

I thought he had a few quid in his own right.

 

Under $5million so what’s that, 3.4million?

I mean he’s not skint but he ain’t funding a football club.

His stepdad is worth £7billion like...

 

I think it’s his father in law that owns Monaco

 

I thought he had a lot more. Bugger.

 

He sold his marijuana business for £170 million a couple of years ago. Probably paid most of it out in bungs for his presidential campaign though
