The number of people who have died from coronavirus in England may have been overstated by up to 4,000, says the BBC's health editor Hugh Pym.

It emerged that Public Health England (PHE) have been including anyone who has ever tested positive for the virus and subsequently died - even if from a completely different - in its daily reported Covid-19 death figures.

Pym said: "It looks as if the English death figures have been overstated by a few thousand – between 2,000 and 4,000."

Health Secretary Matt Hancock has launched an urgent review.

Meanwhile Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland include those who tested positive for coronavirus and died within 28 days of the test in its figures.

 

Crazy innit.

Whatever your political stance, it is quite remarkable how some folk can turn 180 deg on this.

 

Social media has a lot to answer for. I never thought Facebook memes could be so powerful. I’d shut it all down tbh. Conspiracy theories, at the moment, are getting dangerously out of hand.

I've got mates who've told me they've ditched the BBC and mainstream media because it's brainwashing the public with its lies, so have instead turned it all off and are now getting their information from websites like Qanon, America's last line of defence and Info Wars.

The irony of that is staggering.

 

Although some of these sites are quite funny as they are parody satire sites, using the ignorance of the 'click and share, without checking the facts' brigade to expose their ignorance.

Coleman was not "struck off the register" he chose to leave a profession that he no longer had (or has) any faith in, and indeed directly confronted it by taking on and exposing a very powerful drugs industry, which exploits everyone of us, and which doctors (including yours) silently support and acquiesce with, because they get paid thousands to administer drugs of which they know absolutely nothing about.

Again, by attempting to smear and denigrate the achievements and work of a good man, you are demonstrating both your arrogance and your ignorance.

I spoke to my brother last week who lives in Brisbane .
He got onto telling me about some of the people he has to do business with and work with .

That's great. We can all ignore what some very educated people have said and questioned, and simply believe everything we are told, without question.

I'm glad you cleared that up. See, I was beginning to think that that my being blessed with education and intelligence was a sign that I should use it to question things authorities say that clearly don't add up, but I now see the error of my ways.
