It’s inevitable that with Leeds being promoted and Liverpool winning the league that we will miss out on CL football and City will win the CL.
He was crap against us, as Moyes played him deep and Noble further forward. Bizarre decision. Looks a different player when he's closer to the opponents box.
They’re truly ****e. Made me laugh early doors in the season when they seemed to genuinely think they were going to make an impact in the PL. They couldn’t defend for ****e in the Championship, so they were always going back down.
They've got no confidence, understandably. Serge Aurier is their third highest goalscorer in the league. Some of their players are decent enough, but they've got no goal threat and it's worn them down. As soon as they concede a goal now, they expect to lose. I can understand not overstretching yourself and surviving within your means, but they just gave up before they started. Delia should be ashamed. The fans should keep shouting, "Where are you?", at her every week.
Is right mate. I’ve said the same myself on here. They literally planned to fail, by refusing to invest. Piss poor.
Their behaviour in the transfer window and furloughing staff makes me wonder if they were already in some financial difficulty. Villa spent a little too extravagantly and probably wasted quite a bit of money, but Norwich didn't appear to spend anything. One half decent striker could've kept them up. They could've done that with a loan. Expecting Pukki to save them on his own was mental. Not that Spurs are in any position to comment on that situation, as we basically did the same thing. Who has one striker in their squad? Ridiculous.
Why is this at Wembley? 90,000 empty seats. Have it halfway (Coventry? Leicester?) and it wouldn't make any difference.
