Athena prints nearly killed his credibility in the 70s. He was a visionary though.

Looking forward to 12 months of banter before you disappear again <ok>

When Slurps throws the betting thread up for next season come hit me up, I’ll make sure we take care of that disgraceful username.

    Now go away.

I am old enough to remember the Revie era Leeds - dirty ****s all of them.
Weirdly my older gay brother is a Leeds fan, he liked Alan Clarke !

Never had a problem with Leeds.

Mostly because during my lifetime they've been an irrelevant **** Championship club and will likely crash back down in their first season up.

    But welcome back anyway.

Don't be so self deprecating I'm sure Ole will keep you up for a few years yet.

Leeds fans excited about the PL, the heady days of Viduka, Kewell and Champions League semi-finals.

Reality... 3 years later playing in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Be careful what you wish for...

    Bit harsh on Kewell mate.

Have to say I used to enjoy watching Leeds back then. Remember a 4-0 pasting of Liverpool which was very entertaining.

Harry went off the rails and even as a fellow countryman I would be hard pushed to acknowledge his achievements but there was a time when he could play, then he went to Liverpool.

It was a great partnership, probably forgotten by many. Viduka was class tbf.

I bet you have an even lesser opinion of Alan Smith <laugh>

Good to see Leeds back in the top flight. At least they will add some spice, unlike **** boring teams and fans like Norwich and Bournemouth

Remember David O'Leary saying that the club needed to be careful with his 'babies', nurture them and not let them get too ahead of themselves.

    Shoulda listened to Dave.

'Sniffer' Clarke jumped ship after we lost the 1969 Cup final and got relegated ... so not the most popular character in Leicester ... but he was a fine footballer.

Happy to see Leeds back, clubs like them Villa and Wolves need to be in the Prem ... but everyone is up against it there other than the mega clubs ...<cheers>

Leeds away being back on the list suits me fine.

I hope some of their fans don’t come back with the same ****er attitude they had before they had their extended sabbatical though. As they had more than their fair share of proper ****s.

Massive club though and I’ll happily swap them for the inbred farmers from Norfolk. So it’s a yes from me.

Smithy is treated badly by a lot of Leeds fans. I thought he played his heart out for us, left because he had to and the rest as they say. Ferdinand on the other hand..........
