    During this time of intense happiness and celebration, please spare a thought for:

    1) Our legendary players we have lost this year so far - Norman Hunter, Trevor Cherry and Jack Charlton,
    2) All our fans who have passed away due to Covid or are currently fighting for their lives,
    3) Our friend Harj who would have been on here as ecstatic as anyone.

    Harj, first guy I would meet, straight from LBA to wetherspoons at the bus station.
    Met his lads too,
    Really looked after me and the the other lads who were from out of town.
    True northern monkey ( his own words)
    Easy fella, as he used to say,
