Or Villa. Bmouth have a better chance of reaching 35 or 37, than Villa. But arguably Villa have a better chance of reaching 34.
I'd rather be in Bournemouth's shoes out of the three sides. Villa have Arsenal and in form West Ham to play. Bournemouth have us and a woeful Everton.
That's where I am now, given that West Ham are going safe. I have nothing against Villa at all, so would be fine with them staying up.
True but I still think Walcott's goal yesterday will come back to haunt Villa. I just can't see Villa getting anything out of Arsenal. It will all come down to the final day. West Ham may ease off but Everton have been simply awful since the restart.
If Bournemouth don't lose to us on Sunday then they will stay up IMO. Even if we beat them they've got a team woefully out of form on the final day.
Ultimately, it does appear that relegation this season is going to form. Since West Ham went down with the record 42 points in 2003, the average points tally for the side in 18th is 34.5. Seemingly, we're pretty much going to be there again this year. (And yet still there will be people to look to 38 or 40.)
I'd still rather be Watford. When every team involved is kinda trash, you'd rather be the one with points banked.
