This is where it starts.
Next, there is going to be the long touted (by the mainstream media) second spike. The pubs, restaurants and anything else fun will be blamed, and shut down, and people like you will be frothing at the mouth, swallowing the propaganda bullshit and exerting your fascist muscles.
Then, a vaccine will arrive (not properly tested, of course), and people will be given a “choice” between “take the untested vaccine, or be forced to keep wearing the sweaty, smelly, germ infested mask that is scientifically unproven to do anything other than exacerbate respiratory problems and make you a pariah in society for having the courage to call “bollocks” on this sham.
In part there is some sense in what you suggest, but I would say it differently...
Firstly I should make it clear, that I'm for wearing a mask in shops/enclosed spaces. Also I believe in consistency of message, it should have happened at the beginning of acknowledgment of the outbreak.
Now to my point...
My concern is that people will as you say keep wearing the same, smelly, germ infested mask. You only have to look around at some of the population to know that is true. You only have to stand and wash your hands in the bogs, to see how many men leave without a drop of water passing through their hands, apart from the piss they just had.
My next concern is people tend to touch their face more when wearing a mask.
However, I still think it's safer to wear a mask than not, yet there is third and more important concern I have, and that is people will break the 1-2 metre social distancing, because the thick spanners will think they are safe because they now wear a piece of cloth.
