The weekly Sesh from Polar Bear has a new venue sorted. Not announced yet, but sorted nevertheless which is good
I haven't been in there but had a nosey through the window. It looks like the performance space has been reduced during the refurbishment. I might be wrong though.
Looks like it's Dive on Prinny ave....way to small, they don't sell bitter and overpriced for everything else in there and no chance for anything social distanced though that hasn't stopped a mass of people standing outside on a saturday night since it reopened
High street carnage continued... M&S to cut 950 jobs in shake-up of store management. Ted Baker to cut at least 500 jobs, a quarter of its UK workforce. Burberry to cut 500 jobs. Premium footwear brand, Oliver Sweeney, have closed all stores after falling into administration. Surfwear brand White Stuff have made 400 staff redundant. River Island to axe 250 roles. Pentland Brands has placed around 350 UK-based head office roles into consultation as it "hibernates" footwear brand Boxfresh.
Looks like Prinny Quay are about to lose another shop, BMB Ltd (who own Ben Sherman, Jeff Banks, Gibson, Racing Green and several other brands) have just called in an insolvency company to formulate a CVA to get them out of all their Ben Sherman shops.
