I certainly do. Went to see the FA Cup replay in 1970 at OT with my dad. Cried my eyes out. Went to see the 71 final the next year: cried my eyes out again. My dad said I was a jinx and he wasn't taking me any more. I went to the 74 final with my uncle instead. Been in York for nearly 30 years now and have been to several Prem games and cup ties at Elland Rd with my workmates and neighbours - Leeds belong in the Prem. Good luck being back where you belong. And it's always good to see a 40k home games Northern team replace some 25k Southern team, imo.
I think it's a good thing, said something a while back in another thread about having the more historically notable teams in the PL being a good thing, of course it is and should all be on merit, but if those teams who were successful in the past and slumped start to come back then that's cool ... Forest next
Not really. Two of their best players are on loan and Pablo Hernandez is 35. They're abit like Norwich, hardworking 'Team' rather than any special players. They rely on being fitter and stronger than the opposition, unfortunately they'll find that every Prem team is as fit or fitter. The problem they'll face is scoring goals, the forwards don't score that many as they focus more on a team performance. Bamford is their top scorer and he's already shown he struggles in the PL Unless they buy a goal scoring forward I think they could struggle next season.
