I'd love to mate but I've heard nothing for weeks, months really.

That doesn't mean 'FPP' have washed their hands of us but Donald missed a great chance ....

... he now says FPP gave him money to invest, then the supporters kicked off and ruined it all.

So why hasn't he given the money back, its just all nonsense.

What an insult to the club, and supporters, saying it was him FPP wanted to invest in ...

... a truly pathetic statement even if, by some miracle, it was true.

The man has quite an ego for someone who failed to do anything but flog insurance.

If Micky grey had any sense he should be knocking on the Americans door, telling them his plan and what backing the consortium has and then try and get them on board

There’s so much logic in Micky using his obvious love and passion for the club and taking it to them.

If they really were that close to going all in with these morons trying to ‘sell’ the club, well if Deloitte say the clubs viable and worth investment, a Sunderland fam with ties and weight could maybe knock the domino over.

Kind of like Quinn did a few years back, but with a bit more business savvy in the buyers.

Hopefully something happens quick, sounds like he’s pricing him self out of a sale hoping he gets us to the championship,

His response was awful. And the club is just in a dreadful mess.
Personally I’m gutted I put so much faith in him, the connection between owner and fans seemed so positive. It’s gone to **** quicker than I could have ever really imagined.

If Campbell, Ashley or Short bought the club we'd put our faith in them ...

... it's all you can do Janey, no blame is due.

I know that’s all true. I’m just disappointed it wasn’t what we all hoped/thought it had the potential to be x

Reckon it’s got legs this, this yesterday was supposed to be some kind of mender and it’s caused even more separation from the fans, mickey has been quoted as saying ‘they wouldn’t let us look at the books so we pulled out’ now apparently they have been given them to look over for due diligence

As long as it’s right, I think we’d all love local lads or those with an affinity to us to be in charge (like when Niall took over) but it’s no use if they don’t have the funds.

He never paid £37m, he must be mad if he thinks that is believable. He/Madrox paid £15m as everyone knows alongside an agreement to hand the £25m parachute payments over to Short/SBC. The £15m got reduced a bit to £12.5m because Short accepted that there were extra liabilities not known at the time. But at no point did SD pay £37.5m for the club. That is pathetic. He must be a moron to think people don’t see through that.

The break even price for him is (assuming the story that he loaned Madrox £6m is true) is £27.5m which pays off the £12.5m they paid Short, the £6m SD loaned Madrox and the £9m FPP loan.
