We need one point. Please Mr. Bielsa play our best defender in defence. No more of White as DM. No goal conceded does the job <ok>

Under normal circumstances Huddersfield would not be inclined to do us any favours however they also need points so let’s hope they make a good account of themselves.
Last nights hard fought game did not come as any surprise to me.
Derby and Charlton will not be easy unless Charlton have already given up.
Having said that they will both want to spoil our party<cheers><cracker><party>

Bielsa has done an incredible fantastic job in two seasons no doubt about that.
Last night was Barnsley’s FA cup final and I fully expected that performance, a good friend of mine did inform me although we beat them 3-0 at there place, he was impressed with there football against us.
Having said that I personally think Bielsa missed a trick with Philips injury, he always has said he likes two players for each position!!! Forshaw was that player but hasn’t he been crocked this season? so who did he groom or bring in to the squad? ...... nobody, which has surprised me and no doubt others. I would of thought Berardi was the ideal player to fill that role, he’s a defender, puts in a good tackle, good header of the ball? but no, Bielsa has had all season to groom Berra for that position just in case, but no he changed the back four around, players were confused especially Ayling and Dallas!! a good captain would of sorted it on the pitch temporary until the manager sorted it, again nothing, we were very fortunate last night but it’s about time we had some luck.

I would have liked to have seen Shackleton play. We should have swamped the midfield.

Kicked a water bottle and screamed his frustration at Bielsa as he pulled off his shirt and Shackleton trying to stop him venting over, I wonder if he’ll be included next game.

Good afternoon from a sunny Bardsey
WERE ALMOST THERE the song sung by Andy Williams comes to mind
I9 think that WBA have the most pressure as they can breathe Brentford now and having drawn their last 2 games are not going to have it easy at Town .It wouldn
t surprise me to learn that Cowley ,may have gone to see Belisa for his guidance on how to beat them similarly Revie sought out Bushby years ago so I am predicting 0-0
Villa are certain to be relegated after last nights results

A couple of people have mentioned cover for KP. I'm as puzzled as they are, but for a different reason. Alfie McCalmont has been groomed to replace KP, but he appears to have disappeared from sight. Don't know if he's injured, out of favour, or whatever. He was good, too!

Also puzzled by Bielsa not bringing on Douglas, being our best defensive LB option.

Delighted that Struijk got some important game time, albeit out of position. One for the future, imo. The new White? Suspect not, due to the lack of experience & the PL trials he'd have to face. Btw, just to remind everyone, his name is pronounced 'Strew-ock', not 'Stroik' or Stroo-ick'. He told me.

Last night. I thought Bielsa got caught out by his own diligence. Researched Barnsley as thoroughly as everyone else, BUT, seemingly forgot to realise that they might not play the way they did before on his tapes, as they were now in a perilous situation, & had to go all out to win. Think this might have been the first time he had a hard 3 up front, as opposed to a soft 3 that is only a 3 in attack (e.g. in a 4-5-1). They squashed our space, as did their high pressing midfield. Result? We had to go long - and firmly established that we're rubbish at that. Frankly, we were all over the place, & I think that Bielsa more or less confessed that he struggled to counter their patterns (plural) of play. I wish them all the best. Must have sweated off a stone last night. :)

I have seen so many young players on the bench never to be used. Alfie is a good example and last night bielsa reverted to his i can train anyone to play anywhere approach.
Like you say dallas is the obvious choice to replace kalvin. Simply because he knows our game well and is calm under pressure.

The thing was we needed to go long, either to switch play or back to front.

At one point when we had possession in the left back zone I counted 7 Barnsley players in view (so about a quarter of the pitch). All we had to do was bypass that press and find the acres of open space, instead we played short to medium passes and repeatedly lost the ball in our own half.

It hurts me to say this but a crappy team like Cardiff/Millwall would have played long balls either up to the stiker or diagonally with a back four squeezing right up and probably won the game comfrotably. We on the other hand, sat off, dropped deep and gave them the freedom of Elland Road to pass through our midfield.

I'm pleased we dug out two hard fought 1-0 wins, shows great character, so why can't I rid myself of it being so Leeds to lose the last two and finish 3rd. feel like I'm having a nervous breakdown and keep mumbling '****ing brentford' under my breath.
